Akhand Jyoti magazine is published from the beginning till today without advertisement
A new phase started in the life of Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya (Founder of All World Gayatri Parivar) in 1935. Inspired by Gurusatta, Pujya Gurudev went to Pondicherry to meet Sri Aurobindo, and Shantiniketan to meet Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore and Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad to meet Bapu Gandhi.
Taking instructions on how to free the nation from the shackles of subjugation on cultural and spiritual platforms, he entered the field of journalism, carrying on his rituals as usual.
As the acting editor of the Sainik newspaper published in Agra, Shri Krishna Dutt Paliwal appointed him as his assistant. Taking lessons from Babu Gulab Rai and Paliwal Ji, he published the first issue of the magazine "Akhand Jyoti" on Vasant Panchami in 1938.
Launched Akhand Jyoti magazine by printing it on handmade paper with a foot-operated machine. At first, the publication of Akhand Jyoti started with 250 copies, which today are printed in more than 20 lakhs and are read by more than crore people.
