Farewell to a Gentleman of Wisdom: Professor Anil Verma

The School of Business and Management at Noida International University recently gathered to bid a bittersweet farewell to one of its pillars, Professor Anil Verma. With over 42 years of experience, Professor Verma has left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of all who have had the privilege of knowing him.

Throughout his tenure at the university, Professor Verma embodied the essence of wisdom and grace. Renowned for his genteel nature, boundless generosity, and unparalleled intellect, he has touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on the community.

Transitioning seamlessly from a rich corporate background in HR and strategic planning, where he spent 35 illustrious years at the Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL), Professor Verma brought his wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom. His passion for teaching and dedication to his students have been unwavering, evident in the countless lives he has touched and transformed over the years.

Professor Verma's contributions extend far beyond the classroom. As a member of high-level delegations, he has represented the nation on the global stage, exploring opportunities and forging partnerships that have benefitted all.

In a poignant moment some months ago, Professor Verma graced the stage of the seminar hall with a soul-stirring rendition of a Bollywood song, evoking memories of a bygone era. His ability to connect on a deeper level, through his teachings, has left a lasting impression that transcends time and space.
